Going Green

We have staff volunteers who under the guidance of our Environmental Supervisor actively promote our environmental initiatives internally. Our staff volunteers monitor our power saving initiatives, waste reduction and recycling, and motivate staff to participate in many other environmental initiatives.

Worldwebnet’s commitment to environmental principles and sustainability is further strengthened when delivering it’s business VoIP solutions. Worldwebnet uses eco-effective technology in its VoIP data centers, recently launched a paperless fax product and created an internal recycling program.

We have gone one step further to try and minimize our carbon footprint by encouraging our staff to use the greenest modes of transportation and providing great incentives to get them started. Our subsidised transit pass program along with our bike subsidy program helps us achieve our sustainability goals.

Reducing Paper Consumption

Being a next generation VoIP telecom business has allowed us to minimize the amount of paper consumption within our organization. We send all invoices and other billing documents via email.

By taking full advantage of online applications, we are able to operate as a near paperless organization. It is company policy to avoid printing emails and other documents, and utilize digital alternatives, such as PDFs, whenever possible. Even faxes that are sent to Worldwebnet are sent to us in an email instead of being printed.

With a passion for the environment, we are constantly looking for ways to reduce our carbon footprint while continuing to provide our clients with the best service levels possible. Our goal is to lead our industry in green practices and serve as an example for others to follow.
